Safety is the cornerstone of our business and industry. We are a voting member of the National Association of Tower Erectors [NATE] and have been an annual participant of the NATE STAR initiative since its inception. Our goal is to keep all our employees safe and our customers confident in our work. To that end, we employ a full-time professional to manage all aspects of our occupational health and safety program.  Along with our Safety Manager, our Crew Leaders, Project Managers and even our owners, provide safety-related training and conduct on-site safety inspections on a weekly basis. We only purchase and use ANSI approved personal protective equipment to ensure our employees’ utmost safety. With our crews performing the work in-house, safety and quality are under our direct control.

Our Safety Program

  • Every new hire receives 10 days of intensive orientation training, which includes 8 days of climbing with certified ComTrain Trainers
  • Safety training geared toward fall protection, personal protective equipment (PPE), ergonomics, electrical safety, basic rigging & crane work, ropes & knot use, lockout/tagout training and more
  • All climbers are ComTrain certified and are re-certified annually
  • All Field Employees participate in OSHA 30-hr Training

As employees perfect and increase their skill base, they will progress from being a ComTrain authorized climber-rescuer to a ComTrain certified climber-rescuer. Certain positions also receive training to operate heavy equipment and to meet the OSHA requirements of being a qualified rigger.

To be true to our zero-accident philosophy, we require our technicians to complete these certifications:

  • CPR/1st Aid/AED
  • Fall Protection/Rescue Training
  • RF/EME Awareness
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Aerial Lifts
  • Commercial Driver’s License
  • Competent Rigger
